Baby is Calling – Illustrated Spread

This school project was inspired by my own toddler’s early interactions with her grandparents. I illustrated the scene as a full spread to create an intimate, immersive moment.

The baby is positioned very close to the phone — just as babies naturally do — creating a slight perspective distortion that adds realism and charm. On the other side of the screen, the grandparents appear in traditional clothing, holding a tablet and leaning in with warmth and excitement.

Through composition and perspective, I wanted to capture both physical distance and emotional closeness. The piece reflects intergenerational connection, cultural identity, and the modern ways families stay together across miles.
